What is CVHRIC 2026?

The Central Visayas Health Research & Innovation Conference (CVHRIC) 2026 is the flagship annual event of the Central Visayas Consortium for Health Research and Development (CVCHRD).

CVHRIC serves as a primary platform for researchers, healthcare professionals, and academic institutions across Region VII to showcase their work, disseminate health research findings, and collaborate on health-related innovations that contribute to the national health agenda.

The conference features research paper competitions at both professional and undergraduate levels (oral and poster presentations), plenary sessions with leading health experts, breakout rooms for focused discussions, and networking opportunities connecting member institutions to the national health research ecosystem.

The conference theme aligns with the National Harmonized Research Agenda, ensuring that local health innovations in Central Visayas contribute meaningfully to broader Philippine health goals and sustainable development objectives.

Yes — registration for CVHRIC 2026 is completely free for all participants, including researchers, clinicians, health professionals, and students. Pre-registration is mandatory to secure your slot since session capacity is limited.
Who can attend?
The conference is open to researchers, healthcare professionals, academic faculty and students, local government health officers, and anyone with an interest in health research and innovation in Central Visayas and beyond.
How do I register?
Register through our online portal — scan the QR code in the Register section or click the "Register Now" button. Pre-registration is mandatory for all participants to ensure a spot in your preferred sessions.
Can I submit a research paper?
Yes! Both professional and undergraduate researchers can submit abstracts for oral or poster presentations. Check the Register section for the submission portal, deadlines, and guidelines for both levels.
What are the conference venues?
The event will be held across two premier Cebu City venues: Sarrosa International Hotel and Cebu Parklane International Hotel. Specific rooms and schedules will be distributed across both hotels — detailed venue assignments will be shared ahead of the event.
Will there be certificates?
Yes. All registered attendees will receive a Certificate of Participation. Presenters will receive a Certificate of Presentation, and winners of the paper competition will receive additional recognition awards during the closing ceremony.
